Second Joyful Mystery When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb." Luke 1, 41-42

Now we picture Mary going to visit her cousin, Elizabeth.
They would each become the mother of a special person.
Mary's son would be Jesus, our Savior. Elizabeth's son would be John the baptist.
John would explain latter in his life that he would bless those wishing to repent with water
but He who comes after will bless with the Holy Spirit.

Elizabeth exclaimed "And how does this happen to me,
the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant inside me leaped for joy.
Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord will be fufilled.
How would Elizabeth know Mary was the Mother of The Lord
except that the Spirit of God went ahead to prepare the way for His coming.

Help us, Lord Jesus,
to make all our meetings with others,
moments of joy, faith, love and blessings.
