So they took Jesus and carryinto what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha
John 19, 16,17
We picture Jesus, physically exhausted carring His heavy cross. He staggared down the narrow street filled with on-lookers
Along the way many turned their backs on Him.
Only a few would be brave enough to show Him mercy.
If anyone wants to be a follower of mine,
let him renounce himself and take up his own cross every day and follow me. (Luke 9:23)
Lord Jesus, help me to put more joy, into taking up that cross each day.
